Kitui County Public Service Board (CPSB) is a body corporate established under Section 57 of the County Governments Act, 2012 pursuant to Article 235 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010. Section 59 of the County Governments Act 2012 outlines the functions of the CPSB among them being “appoint persons to hold or act in offices of the county public service including in the Boards of cities and urban areas within the County and to confirm appointments” Pursuant to the above constitutional and legal provision, Kitui CPSB invites applications from qualified persons to be considered for the positions below in the Department of Decentralized Units, SEKEB and Intergovernmental Relations:

SUB COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR, JOB GROUP ‘CPSB 04’ (Q), EIGHT (8) POSTS

iii. Facilitating citizen participation in the development of policies, plans and delivery of services in the area of jurisdiction;
iv. Facilitating intra and inter-governmental relations and conflict resolutions;
v. Overseeing safe custody of government assets in the area of jurisdiction;
vi. Ensuring compliance with legal, statutory and regulatory requirements in the area of jurisdiction;

Reporting to the Ward Administrator, the Village Administrator will be responsible for;

iv. Coordinating development activities to empower the community;
v. Providing and maintaining infrastructure and facilities of public service
vi. Facilitating and coordinating citizen participation in the development of policies and service delivery;
vii. Providing input in organizing public participation awareness at the local level; and
viii. Performing any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.
