Site Manager

 

Our Client is an interior architecture and design firm based in Kenya. They provide end-to-end processes for design solutions; from design, planning, and execution (build/fit out) to furnishing and decorating spaces.
They seek to hire a Site Manager who will manage the team at the site and have oversight over daily operations at the project site.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Run the project (end-end) on-site and provide leadership to the team onsite
  2. Meet and deliver project milestones
  3. Ensure compliance and quality work
  4. Prepare and present site inductions, safety briefings and toolbox meetings
  5. Take and record accurate site measurements
  6. 6. Maintain health and safety compliance on site
  7. Prepare and submit records
  8. Oversee the use of all materials, tools and equipment on site
  9. Compile a material list
  10. Ensure that all drawings, design instructions, site rules and regulations are adhered to on- site
  11. Handle emergencies according to established procedures
  12. Prepare and maintain accident reports.

Required Specifications

  1. A minimum of 2years experience as a Site Manager in an interior design (construction) project
  2. A minimum of a Diploma in a relevant field
  3. Attention to detail, precision and accuracy
  4. Health and safety training will be an added advantage.
  5. Strong numerical and analytical skills
  6. Able to plan and organise tasks and manage teams at the site
  7. Flexible to work within and outside normal working hours (Including evenings and weekends)
  8. Great communication skills (both oral and written)- able to write detailed reports
  9. A person of integrity
  10. Strong team management and supervisory skills

Clerk Manager

Our Client is an interior architecture and design firm based in Kenya. They provide end-to-end processes for design solutions; from design, planning, and execution (build/fit out) to furnishing and decorating spaces.
They seek to hire a Site Clerk who will be charged with assisting the Site Manager (SM) and Project Manager(PM) with routine documentation and performance of administrative tasks at the site.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Receive and dispatch materials
  2. Issue work equipment, tools and machinery
  3. Ensure proper usage and maintenance of work tools, equipment and machinery
  4. Manage and monitor stock and materials
  1. Maintain site records, and conduct daily stock take and stock reconciliation
  2. Monitor workers’ attendance and maintain attendance sheets
  3. Monitor the health and safety of the site
  4. Report any security, health and safety incidents and accidents
  5. Assume leadership of the site temporarily

Required Specifications

  1. Possess a good understanding of stores management and stock tracking
  2. Attention to detail, precision and accuracy
  3. A minimum of 1-year experience as a Site Clerk in an interior design (construction) project
  4. A minimum of a KCSE Certificate or equivalent
  5. Strong numerical and analytical skills
  6. Flexible and adaptable
  7. Good communication skills
