Duration:

• Regular programs for form four leavers is for two terms in the institution and 3 months on mandatory Industrial Attachment.
• Skill upgrading program for the workers already working in the industry but lack formal training and certification, is for 3 months in the institution and 3 months on Industrial Attachment. Selection of beneficiaries under this category will be done by the Kenya Building Construction, Timber & Furniture Industries Employees Union
• Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Assessment for workers with professional experience but lack certificates
• Training Centre: NITA Athi River
• Intake: September 2025
• Certification: National Skills Certificate II (NSC II) and Government Trade Tests – grade III/II/I
• Industrial Attachment: All trainees will be placed on three-months mandatory Industrial Attachment through the project partnership.
• Fees: Tuition & Exams Fees is fully funded
• Target group
• Youth artisans (fundis) between 18 and 35 years, working in the building and construction sites but lack formal college education and certificates
• Form four leavers with D- and above grade and have interest in Carpentry, Plumbing, Solar and Electrical
