Background

SoCha intends to submit a proposal to provide third-party monitoring (TPM), evaluation, and special studies services to support USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) programs in Sudan. The Community Partnership Advisor (CPA) will play a crucial role in ensuring clear communications and presentations to BHA, implementing partners (IPs), and other stakeholders on progress and community feedback.

Scope of Work

  • Support communication, scripts, and information sharing with BHA and the IPs.
  • Facilitate event planning and collaboration among Mission staff, IPs, and development stakeholders.
  • Identify and engage local experts to supplement the program.
  • Lead partnership and communications-related objectives for the project.
  • Develop learning products from field-collected data.
  • Support USAID in developing templates, tools, knowledge management, and partnership management systems.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in fields related to monitoring and evaluation, development assistance, or similar interdisciplinary fields.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive professional experience in partnership management, organizational development, and/or knowledge management.
  • Minimum of two (2) years working in non-permissive environments.
  • Experience with monitoring and evaluation within complex international development contexts, supporting humanitarian assistance or related programs.
  • Competence in client relationship management, strategic thinking, innovation, and effective communication.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to USAID, national government, or related entities.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural, multi-ethnic environment and maintain effective working relations with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.
  • Working knowledge of Arabic is highly desirable.
