Introduction

Helen Keller International seeks consultants to design and produce videos showcasing its Vitamin A Supplementation programs in Sub-Saharan Africa. The selected vendor will support the development of training modules through qualitative videos and pictures.

Eligibility of Bidders

Open to individual consultants and private companies registered in Kenya, demonstrating capacity and expertise in the scope of work. Bidders must comply with relevant regulations and demonstrate integrity and ethical business practices.

Program Background

Helen Keller International has been active in Kenya since 2010, supporting various nutrition and health projects. The consultancy aims to produce qualitative videos and pictures highlighting project impacts and best practices.

Objectives

Develop videos and pictures showcasing project activities and impacts, aligning with global best practices. Focus areas include Vitamin A Supplementation, deworming, and maternal and child health initiatives.

Activities

  • Draft synopsis and script for videos.
  • Identify stakeholders and schedule interviews.
  • Conduct interviews, capture high-quality photographs and videos.
  • Develop rough drafts of documentaries for review.
  • Edit and finalize documentaries, incorporating feedback.
  • Travel to project sites for documentation.

Proposal Submission

Bidders must submit a technical proposal, team qualifications, and a budget proposal. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in media or film studies, sensitivity to cultural diversity, and proficiency in video editing software.

Contracting Period

The anticipated contract duration is 3 months, starting no later than March 18th, 2024. The award will be an all-inclusive fixed-price contract based on the best value to Helen Keller International.
