Introduction:

DAI Global seeks a highly experienced Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Advisor to manage the Feed the Future MEL system for the Africa Trade and Investment (ATI) Activity. This position will play a crucial role in tracking the results of ATI’s trade and investment activities related to food security and resilience, supporting USAID’s Global Food Security Strategy.

Summary of Primary Duties:

  • Create and execute MEL plans, including data analysis, for ATI’s food security work.
  • Manage the ATI database to ensure accurate and timely reporting per USAID’s requirements.
  • Provide leadership in developing and implementing MEL and knowledge management strategies.
  • Lead data quality assurance processes and provide MEL expertise on activity design and implementation.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Support ATI in reporting results through an effective M&E system.
  • Provide data analysis on food security work funded by Feed the Future initiative.
  • Manage data quality assurance processes to meet USAID standards.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation tools and data collection protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • At least ten (10) years of progressively responsible work experience in developing and managing M&E systems for Feed the Future-funded programs administered by USAID.
  • Strong familiarity with USAID’s reporting cycle, priorities, and expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and manage information collection and analysis systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional technical skills in quantitative and qualitative monitoring and results measurement methods.
