Social Media & Community Coordinator

We are looking for a creative and social media marketing savvy individual to join our team as a Social Media & Community Coordinator at a leading woman’s clothing brand in Kenya. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing the outlined social media strategy in line with the company’s objective and grow the numbers on the various social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand
  2. Post on all social media platforms on a daily basis
  3. Working with the various in-house teams to develop social media marketing campaigns that will push the brand’s awareness and sales.
  4. Interacting with customers via the company’s social media accounts and deal with any issues/queries that may arise.
  5. Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements.
  6. Head the Inhouse creative team when it comes to creation of content for the various social brand pillars.
  7. Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities.
  8. Running social media ads on a weekly basis to target a wider range of consumers.
  9. Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs.
  10. Manage social media influencers that work closely with the brand and monitor performance using KPI’s.
  11. Use data collected from social media interactions with the consumer to make informed strategic brand decisions.
  12. Take part in all brand activities and showcase this on the various social media platforms.


  1. Degree/ Diploma in related fields.
  2. At least 3 years of experience in social media management, communication and/or related fields.
  3. Web development skills (Highly desired, but not required)
  4. Graphics design (Highly desired, but not required)
  5. A solid understanding of all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.), particularly in relation to advertising/branding, marketing and customer engagement.
  6. Knowledge and understanding of algorithms and search engine optimization.
  7. Strong editing and writing skills for mass emailing and social media communication.
  8. An eye for details.
  9. Strong verbal communication skills for articulating ideas to management.
  10. Excellent team work and networking skills.
  11. Organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize and work across multiple projects
  12. The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  13. Online community management and customer service skills

Website & SEO Coordinator

We are hiring a Website and SEO Coordinator to join our client, a leading woman’s clothing brand in Kenya. The Job holder will oversee the research of SEO to help the digital marketing team run effective campaigns, as well as to optimize the company’s website, social media pages, and other content efforts.

Role Responsibilities

  • Populate the website with product content regularly.
  • Monitor all products on the website to ensure they appear correctly on the website and store POS.
  • Ensure customer online shopping experience is smooth – any arising problems should be addressed within 1hr.
  • Manage returns/exchanges/gift cards that need to be processed on the website while liasing with the retail and production team.
  • Countercheck website inventory daily.
  • Regularly research thorough trending keywords and use them in website content. Also work closely with social media team to ensure the same is applied on social platforms.
  • Research new ways to improve website performance using Shopify apps and create a monthly report on the same.
  • Work with social media team to optimize campaigns.
  • Read reports and data to inform key decisions ie. Product development, consumer information, marketing strategy.
  • Suggest improvements in process and productivity optimization.


  • Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Business or related field
  • At least 3 years SEO management experience in medium and large websites;
  • Have market insight and strong learning ability, be able to follow SEO trends, and adapt to search engine changes;
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Experience with SEO reporting
  • Familiarity with relevant tools and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude.
