Your Role
The primary function of the role is to promote and develop Reefer/Perishable business in line with overall company strategy and policies for the Perishables Business Field. To develop, and maintain profitable and healthy business portfolio, by generating new business opportunities as to further develop assigned existing customers.. The Reefer Sales will be the leading Perishables position in the country for generating new business opportunities within the East African Region so to gather and retrieve valuable market information within his area.
Your Responsibilities
- Determine / co-operates in the determination of the business strategy and executes / secures its implementation
- Acquire / support the acquisition of new business and supports the account management
- Promote customer relations and develops the existing client base
- Direct / support the business development process (tender analysis, solution design, costing, pricing and service offering)
- Localize the global Perishables products to meet local market expectations and requirements
- Monitors market trends and competitor activity in order to identify new business opportunities (acquisition candidates, new services, business partners, etc.)
- Provide market and product related information as/when required
Your Skills and Experiences
- Proven experience in the reefer / perishables field and good understanding of the industry
- A business development profile
- Excellent connections with Industry key players
