Professors – (2 Positions)
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must have a Ph.D. degree or its academic equivalent in the relevant field from accredited and recognized University.
- Must demonstrate exemplary research, teaching and academic /relevant industrial experience in the relevant field;
- Must show proof of having taught in a university for at least 3 years since becoming a professor.
- A minimum of sixty (60) publication points as an Associate Professor or equivalent of which at least forty (40) should be from refereed scholarly journals
- Must have successfully supervised a minimum of five (5) postgraduate students to completion including at least two doctoral students.
- Attracted Research or Development funds as an Associate Professor or equivalent.
- Should have attended and contributed at learned conferences, seminars or workshops;
- Should show evidence of being a member of relevant professional bodies;
- Should show evidence of leadership (administrative experience, active participation in university, national and international activities);
- Be of high ethical standards, integrity and professionalism.
- Must have been an Academic Leader for a minimum of three years.
Associate Professors – (2 Positions)
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must have a Ph.D. degree or its academic equivalent in the relevant field from accredited and recognized University.
- Must demonstrate exemplary research, teaching and academic /relevant industrial experience in the relevant field;
- Must show proof of having taught in a university for at least 3 years since becoming a Senior Lecturer.
- A minimum of forty eight (48) publication points as a Senior Lecturer or equivalent of which at least thirty two (32) should be from refereed scholarly journals
- Must have successfully supervised a minimum of four (4) postgraduate students to completion including at least one doctoral student.
- Attracted Research or Development funds as a Senior Lecturer or Senior Research Fellow
- Should have attended and contributed at learned conferences, seminars or workshops;
- Should show evidence of being a member of relevant professional bodies;
- Should show evidence of leadership (administrative experience, active participation in university, national and international activities);
- Be of high ethical standards, integrity and professionalism.
- Must have been an Academic Leader for a minimum of three years.
Senior Lecturers – (2 Positions)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must have a Ph.D. degree or its academic equivalent in the relevant field from accredited and recognized University.
- Must demonstrate exemplary research, teaching and academic /relevant industrial experience in the relevant field;
- Must have taught in a University at the lecturer level or engaged as a researcher in a recognized research organization for three (3) years.
- Must have a minimum of thirty two (32) publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent of which at least twenty four (24) should be from refereed scholarly journals.
- Must have supervised three (3) post graduate students to completion as a Lecturer or equivalent.
- Must have been an academic leader in a University for a minimum of two (2) years
Lecturers – (2 Positions)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must have a Ph.D. degree or its academic equivalent in the relevant field from accredited and recognized University
- Must demonstrate exemplary research, teaching and academic /relevant industrial experience in the relevant field;
- Must have taught in a University or engaged as a researcher in a recognized research organization for at least three (3) years.
- Must have a minimum of twenty four (24) publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed scholarly journals.
Tutorial Fellows – (2 Positions)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must have a Master’s degree or its academic equivalent in the relevant field from accredited and recognized University.
- Be registerable for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or equivalent Doctoral degree qualification.
- Must have a minimum of sixteen (16) publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent of which at least eight (8) should be from refereed scholarly journals.
- Must demonstrate exemplary research, teaching and academic /relevant industrial experience in the relevant field
