About the Programme

The Young Professionals (YP) Programme is a flagship training initiative by the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA). It aims to:

• Build capacity in public policy research and analysis

• Provide hands-on experience through rigorous coursework and publication of research

• Equip participants with leadership skills and enhance professional networks

This is a full-time, physical programme involving intensive coursework and research activities.

Coursework Includes:

• Public Policy-Making Process

• Introduction to Legislative Process

• Applied Research Methods

• Tools for Policy Analysis

• Governance in Devolved Systems

• Monitoring & Evaluation

• Macroeconomic Modeling & Forecasting

• Systems of National Accounts

• Introduction to Social Accounting Matrix (SAM)

Participants are expected to publish research outputs during the program.

Who Should Apply?

This call is for self/institution-sponsored candidates. Ten (10) slots are available.
