Program Overview
The KPMG East Africa Internship and Attachment Program is a full-time, 3 to 8-week opportunity for undergraduate students in their third or fourth year of study, or for individuals who have graduated within the last year. This program offers meaningful work experience to help you decide whether a long-term career with KPMG is right for you.
By joining the program, you will:
Work with professionals on real client projects
Develop technical and leadership skills
Engage in a structured learning pathway
Explore different career paths within a professional services firm
Internships are offered across East Africa, including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda.
Program Features
Short-term professional experience over a three-month period
Open to students from diverse academic backgrounds and disciplines
Opportunities available in audit, tax, advisory, technology, and regulatory services
Multidisciplinary team experience working on complex business challenges
Internships offered across East Africa locations
Minimum Requirements by Country
Kenya
Age between 21 and 26
Must be a third- or fourth-year undergraduate student or have graduated within the last year
Minimum university qualification: Second Class Upper or a GPA of 3.0 and above
Minimum high school grade: B average with at least a B in English and Mathematics
Uganda
Age between 21 and 26
Must be a third- or fourth-year undergraduate student or have graduated within the last year
Minimum university qualification: Second Class Upper or a CGPA of 4.0 and above
High school qualifications must include credits in English and Mathematics, and at least 14 points overall
Tanzania
Age between 21 and 26
Must be a third- or fourth-year undergraduate student or have graduated within the last year
Minimum university qualification: Second Class Upper or a GPA of 3.5 and above
High school requirement: Minimum Division 2 with at least a B in CSSE, English, and Mathematics
Rwanda
Age between 21 and 26
Must be a third- or fourth-year undergraduate student or have graduated within the last year
Minimum university qualification: Second Class Upper or a cumulative average of 70 percent and above
High school requirement: Minimum of B in principal subjects of the Senior Secondary School (A2 certificate)
