Job Summary

The MEAL Coordinator for the Horn of Africa Child Wasting Initiative (HoA CWI) will play a pivotal role in facilitating the initiative’s implementation across Ethiopia, Kenya, and Somalia. The HoA CWI focuses on addressing wasting through multi-sectoral approaches, fostering innovation in programming and partnerships, and actively engaging in learning and advocacy to enhance wasting prevention strategies globally.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Programme Planning and Design

  • Assist in developing M&E systems across all CWI implementation countries.
  • Ensure standardization of M&E systems across all CWI programs.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of digital M&E dashboards.

Capacity Building

  • Continuously build the capacity of CWI Programme country teams on M&E processes.
  • Provide support for data collection throughout the Programme Cycle.

Results Based Management

  • Support access to accurate information from data collected via dashboards.
  • Compile, analyze, and present key program data for reporting.

Supporting Evaluations and Promoting Learning

  • Develop Terms of Reference for thematic analysis, reviews, and evaluations.
  • Support development of Technical briefs and learning papers.

Person Specification

Minimum Education, Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • At least ten years of experience in developing countries.
  • Experience working in integrated, multi-sectoral programs.
