About the Role:

GAIN is seeking a Project Manager, Workforce Nutrition to lead the Workforce Nutrition Alliance and support the broader workforce nutrition portfolio. This role offers a 2-year fixed-term contract basis, based in Utrecht, Netherlands, or Nairobi, Kenya, subject to funding availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and technical leadership in project design, planning, and implementation.
  • Define project scope, activities, and objectives aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Monitor project progress and adapt activities as needed.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate planning, budget management, and reporting.
  • Lead procurement processes and supplier management.
  • Provide monthly project reporting to update management on progress.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have practical work experience in nutrition, sustainability programs, or relevant social sector programs. You should have experience in project management within international development or the food industry, along with excellent communication and influencing skills. A bachelor’s degree with recognized international accreditation in project management is required, with a postgraduate degree in a related field desirable.
