Job Description:

The Proposal Development Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality written communication in English for concept notes and proposals across BRAC International’s country and program operations. This position is part of the Global Resource Mobilization and Partnership team and will primarily support country offices and technical units in writing and editing concept notes, expression of interests, proposals, and resource mobilization documents.

Key Responsibilities:

Proposal Development (85%)

  • Write and edit high-quality concept notes, EOIs, and proposals in collaboration with country, GRP, and technical teams.
  • Support proposal development workshops.

Communication (15%)

  • Assist in updating country fact sheets and program updates in collaboration with the GRP BI team.
  • Support or coordinate the process of updating and reviewing Resource Mobilization Plans for BI Country offices.
  • Engage in general resource mobilization work.

Safeguarding:

  • Ensure the safety of team members and stakeholders from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation.
  • Act as a key source of support and guidance on safeguarding, promoting safeguarding policy adherence among team members.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication/International Development or relevant subjects.

Required Competencies:

  • Excellent editing and writing skills for resource mobilization.
  • Familiarity with or usage of AI for writing/editing.
  • Proficiency in English language.
  • Strong networking and team collaboration abilities.

Experience Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of work experience in communication or development with a focus on writing/communication/advocacy.
  • Preference for 2-3 years of experience in the development sector and proposal writing.

Employment Type: Regular/Contractual
