About the Role

Bodhi Global Analysis is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Conflict Researcher to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will conduct research on current conflict and peacebuilding issues, focusing on fragile and conflict-affected settings (FCAS). This role involves leading and supporting evaluations and reviews of conflict/peacebuilding programs.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Research

  • Lead different stages of conflict-related research projects.
  • Conduct literature and desk reviews using various secondary sources.
  • Clean and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Design research instruments and conduct data collection.
  • Contribute to the critical review, analysis, and publication of reports and articles.

Project Development

  • Support the development of new projects and proposals.

Person Specification

Qualification and Experience

  • Master’s degree in Development Studies, International Relations, Peace and Conflict Studies, or related discipline.
  • Thematic interest and experience in conflict, peacebuilding, and related themes.
  • 7+ years of research experience.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic and French desirable.

Core Competencies

  • Strong research skills and ability to think critically.
  • Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of statistical analysis software.
  • Attention to detail, initiative, flexibility, teamwork, organization, integrity, and communication skills.
