About the SheTrades Initiative

ITC’s SheTrades Initiative aims to empower women entrepreneurs worldwide by improving access to knowledge, networks, and markets. The initiative works with governments, business support organizations, and private sector stakeholders to create an inclusive, sustainable global economy that advances women’s participation in trade.

Key focus areas include:

  • Gender-Responsive Public Procurement (GRPP): Advocating for equitable procurement practices, addressing the fact that only 1% of government contracts go to women-owned businesses.
