IT Project Manager (Remote/Hybrid)

The IT Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. He/She will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources, and mitigate risks to achieve successful project outcomes. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong organizational skills who thrives in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.

  • Manage project budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.

  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.

  • Facilitate communication between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and best practices.

  • Provide regular project updates and reports to management.

Must-Haves

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Proven experience managing IT projects across different domains.

  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Valued Experience

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.

  • Background in managing cloud migration, cybersecurity, or software development projects.

  • Familiarity with budget forecasting and vendor management.

  • Experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.

  • Prior experience leading remote or distributed teams.
