Network Administrator (Hybrid/On-Site)
The Network Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the organization’s computer networks to ensure reliable performance and security. He/She will install, configure, and support network hardware and software, while proactively monitoring systems to prevent outages or vulnerabilities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving, has strong technical knowledge, and thrives in a dynamic IT environment.
Key Responsibilities

Configure and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.

Maintain user access controls and permissions.

Perform regular backups and disaster recovery testing.

Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.

Support IT projects involving network upgrades, migrations, and integrations.

Provide technical support and guidance to users experiencing network-related issues.
Must-Haves
-
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN technologies.

Proficiency with networking hardware (Cisco, Juniper, or similar).

Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
Valued Experience
-
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+.

Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as Wireshark, Nagios, or SolarWinds.

Knowledge of cybersecurity practices for securing networks.

Experience with VoIP systems and wireless networking.
